Cindy brings Sammy's Adventures to the classroom!

        Cindy has been fortunate to visit several elementary schools during 2008-09, including: Muhlenberg Elementary, West Wyomissing Elementary, Schuylkill Valley, the Wyndcroft School in Pottstown, Green Valley, and Spring City in Springford, PA. She presented an inspiring and simultaneously educational talk to students, ranging from small to very large groups. She additionally gave class talks to students at Brecknock Elementary, Spring Ridge Elementary, Kutztown University, and Riverside Elementary schools.

        Other events include book fairs for Wyomissing Elementary School, Cornwall Terrace, and Spring Ridge Elementary; the Ocean City, NJ Cystic Fibrosis walk, book signings at Border’s in Reading, PA and Atlantic Books on the boardwalk in OC; Sun Rose Books & Music in OC; the Fall and Spring Block Party in Ocean City, and the Spring Township Fall Festival. She was recently written up for the presentation she gave at Green Valley Elementary School in the Wilson School District in The Wilson Pride, and had a feature article about the book appear in The Reading Eagle in August 2008. She promoted her book two times on radio stations in South Jersey, and is very excited to appear with Kathy Orr on the “Orr at the Shore” broadcast in July 2009.
